TIJUANA BIBLES recently emerged from the shadows with the announcement of their debut album ‘Free Milk’ via Button Records.
A band who have been long on our radar thanks to their decadent and veracious brand of rock and roll, the four-piece from Coatbridge are finally ready to lay down their biggest and most ambitious piece of work since 2017’s ‘Ghost/Dance/Movement’ EP.
Slated for arrival in December, the eagerly anticipated record is being previewed with new single ’The Wave’ – a brazen, imposing return that lurches forward with an almost predatory intensity. Laced with darkness and an ominous fury, frontman Tony Costello is in typically emphatic form – delivering his sermon over a punchy, unrelenting backdrop of post-punk infused rock and roll.
Brimming with ambition and a liberated sense of creativity, it’s a powerful return that launches Tijuana Bibles into a thrilling new era.
To mark the album’s release, the band will also play King Tuts on Saturday 16th December.
