SINGER-songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr has announced a string of UK dates for the coming Winter. The Canadian born artist has been lauded with plaudits for his intimate piano-based sound which has gained many comparisons to counterparts such as John Lennon, with single ‘Without You’ amongst his most popular efforts. Tobias has fabricated a reputation for being a machine when it comes to churning out piano ballad after piano ballad and ‘Without You’ is just another addition to this growing list, the appeal of his young puts him in the same bracket as Elton John was placed after his youthful rise and his songwriting abilities are certainly not far off Sir Elton’s either. The art of piano based songwriting has been tainted somewhat by its frequent use in mainstream pop but Jesso Jr is taking back the crafts respectability with both hands.
