11800386_1040282426005697_2415013725765006479_nPLYING their trade in the realm of unforgiving post punk since their formation in 2011, TRAAMS are an English three piece that have been known for mixing spiky and venomous instrumentation with the occasional allusion to standardised pop traits.

With a deluge of solid material in their catalogue, if the video for latest single ‘Succulent Thunder Anthem’ is any indication then they’ve also made a lot of friends during their time together.

The track itself is a rollicking affair which takes no prisoners from the very first moment that it bursts into life, bearing resemblance to the relentless style of the iconic Wire at full pelt. With a chorus that’ll likely embed itself into your head for hours to come, there’s something  near enough intangible about ‘Succulent Thunder Anthem’ that makes it inherently catchy despite the abrasion that is very much at the forefront.

Its accompanying visuals are equally gripping, featuring cameos from bands such as Honeyblood, The Wytches, The Magic Gang and Pulled Apart By Horses to name but a few.

TRAAM’s forthcoming record Modern Dancing will emerge on the 13th November 2015 via FatCat,
