THE BAND: A Chicago born melancholic rock band, Twin Peaks soared in popularity in 2014 following the release of their UK debut album Wild Onion which found itself in our 50 Best Albums of 2014. Becoming known for their raw and captivating performances, the band sold out their first London show back in October 2014. ‘Making Breakfast’ is Twin Peaks’ latest single taken from Wild Onion.
THE SOUND: Taking influence from surf rock bands both past and present, the latest single is carried by phased wispy chords and low moody vocals. Running at little over two minutes, ‘Making Breakfast’ is over quickly, however Twin Peaks don’t waste time before drawing the listener in with their enjoyably loose style.
THE LOWDON: ‘Making Breakfast’ is set to be released on 16th March 2015 through Communion Records/Caroline International. Twin Peaks are also set to return to the UK in February 2015 at 100 Club, London (17th) and Night & Day, Manchester (20th) before making their Glasgow debut at Garage (21st).
