OPENING their account for 2023, Uninvited are heading in a new direction with the release of their new single ‘Friends With Massacre’.
The band have had a busy 12 months, playing sold out shows up and down the country, supporting Crawlers and Nova Twins and signing a deal with LAB Records.
Now they’re back – emboldened by life on the road and a newfound thirst for their craft. And it all shows on ‘Friends With Massacre’. Showcasing the band at their most heavy and urgent, the band shed the fizzing, playful songwriting of their earlier material in favour of a more forceful and rock-heavy sound. The knack for big hooks and impressive vocals are still very much present and correct, but this is a darker side to Uninvited – one fuelled by heavy electric guitars, pummelling drums and potent lyrics.
