FRESH from supporting Nova Twins on their ‘Supernova’ UK tour, Uninvited share their most refined tune yet with ‘Gonna Get Better’.

Released through Lab Records, ‘Gonna Get Better’ provides an insight to the new direction of Uninvited, soon to be expanded upon within  their forthcoming debut EP set for release later this year. The band’s growth is most evident from their two recent singles, utilising a pop-punk approach with influence from Blink-182, Neck Deep and Hot Milk.

Distorted guitars anchor the ongoing lyrical conversation the band have made known in their work, showcasing their recognition that things can change whether it be through society or self-development. Vocalist/guitarist Gill Dhlakama says, “‘Gonna get better’ is a gut wrenching, heavily produced pop punk almost-ballad about what it’s like to listen and recognise your loved one is going through a tough mental battle but not fully being able to do anything about it because you’re dealing with your own struggles”.

Perhaps their most personal cut to date, it’s a rousing return. Following recent performances at TRNSMT Festival and a support slot for The Snuts, Uninvited head off to Leeds Festival on August 25th.
