The band: Glasgow band United Fruit are part of the Scottish contingent that will be heading over to the US this year to play SXSW. With one album down and another to follow later this year, they’re on course to make a big splash in 2015.
The sound: New track ‘Ghost Inside Your Head’ sets off at a pretty hectic pace and then proceeds to increase in franticness, like a bullet train with faulty breaks it just keeps going at the same 100mph speed. It’s big and anthemic and utterly relentless.
The lowdown: An album is promised for later in the year, but right now the bands main focus is on their trip over the pond, and the highly-sought after appearance at SXSW.
