EMERGING from the ashes of its member’s various other projects and making an immediate impact upon the release of their 2011 debut, The Vaccines have commanded the attention of a great deal of the music buying public over the past few years.

Looking to evolve upon their third record English Graffiti, they have released the intriguing ‘Minimal Affection’, which sees them take brave leaps towards new genres and aesthetics. Interestingly, the sound which is adopted upon ‘Minimal Affection’ is similar in style to The Strokes’ marked departure from their sound that manifested in the polarising Angles record; with Freddie Cowan’s sprawling guitar licks layered with a similar tone to that of Nick Valensi’s on tracks such as ‘Taken For A Fool’ and ‘Under Cover Of Darkness.’

English Graffiti will be released on 25th May 2015 via Columbia, whilst those looking to catch the band live can do so on the dates below.
