VIDA have revealed a new video for their single ‘Fade Away’, a track they revealed during their gig in Glasgow’s Hug & Pint supporting Vladimir alongside The Bar Dogs in December last year. It’s a strong track,
The video features the band out in the great abyss. Talking about the shoot, frontman Jamie Pollock commented: “The video was shot in Sheriffmuir and the Ochil hills, which are local to us. The inspiration came from The La’s video for There She Goes mixed in with a bit of The Coral.
“The inspiration behind the track came from the Scottish band Sergeant, and from listening to a lot of The Verve’s Urban Hymns.”
The band plan to release a three track EP in the coming months through Sound-Hub Records. Vida’s ‘Fade Away’ single launch will take place at the O2 ABC2 on 13th May 2016 with support from Shambolics and The Mona Lisa’s, tickets are on sale now and available via Ticket Web.
