A COUPLE of weeks after etching their names in TENEMENT TRAIL history with a triumphant headline set at the Barrowlands, Vistas have shared a new single called ‘Follow You Down’.

Continuing in the same vein as last month’s ‘Back Of The Car’, new single ‘Follows You Down’ sees the band embrace their rockier side – in fact, it may be the heaviest we’ve ever heard them.

Brimming with passion and fire, it’s driven by big riffs and huge, hard-hitting choruses.

On the new track, frontman Prentice Robertson says: “This is by far the heabviest Vistas tune to date and I think it has an early 2000’s indie feel to it. It came right at the end of a session when we wanted to try squeeze out one more idea. All the parts fell into place out of nowhere and the lyrics flowed out essentially in one stream of consciousness.”

“‘Follow You Down’ is about being the feeling of being in love with someone to the extent that you’d do anything for them even if it was self detrimental,” he concludes.

The song will feature on an upcoming EP, which is said to mark a new direction for the outfit, watching them develop from indie summer anthems to darker, more introspective lyric-driven songs.
