ONE of the first names announced for TENEMENT TRAIL 2022, Washington may only be in the formative stages of his career – but he’s already showing signs of a very bright future ahead.
Having first caught our attention with his debut ‘Rookie’ EP in 2020, the young rapper has followed it up with a string of impressive singles such as ‘PAIN 4-LOW’, ‘Yungin’ and ‘Fallen Star’.
And he continues this rich vein of form with a new double release this week in ‘Season 4’ and ‘Set The Tone’ – two tracks which see him invite us deeper into his immersive and hypnotic world. Showcasing his slick lyrical flow, the first track is a confident and ambitious offering with a bouncy, grooving backdrop while the latter is more contemplative in tone.
