Thrilling their ravenous fanbase with numerous teasers of forthcoming record V, Pete Wentz utilised his time as stand-in on Zane Lowe’s Beats1 show to both premiere and preach the virtues of ‘My Head Hurts’, the band’s latest preview and a track that’s sure to whip those who adore their music into an absolute frenzy.
Anthemic in scale thanks to Williams’ aptitude for capturing the essence of a great pop hook, ‘My Head Hurts’ is evident of the notion of progression that has appeared on previously aired tracks such as ‘Heavy Metal Detox’ and ‘Way Too Much’ that gave their signature sound a slightly more polished sheen.
