WEEKEND DEBT continue their rich vein of form with the release of a brand new single ‘Why Don’t You Realise?’
Recorded in the same sessions as last year’s ‘Pomposity’, it’s a youthful tale of unrequited love with the band noting “The song was written during lockdown about the frustration and jealousy that comes with still ‘fancying’ someone, and seeing them with someone you don’t feel deserves them.”
With a seemingly endless supply of hooks in their locker, it’s another catchy and anthemic slice of indie-rock from the four-piece which sees them beef up their sound with more playful dynamics and soaring refrains.
