WITH each impressive release, Wunderhorse (aka Jacob Slater) expands his sonic catalogue even further.

On ‘Teal’ we heard seething rock with heartland influences, while on ‘Poppy’ we were treated to some ambitiously widescreen fuzzy space-pop. Now the singer-songwriter is back with a heartfelt new single called ’17’.

Written at the age of seventeen, Jacob explains. “I remember coming back from a party and feeling a bit shit and the song just kind of fell out,”

‘It’s the oldest song I still play live and so I thought it deserved to get out there’.

Rich with melody and Americana influences, it’s another gripping slice of indie-rock that has us on firmly on side.
