Clearly unsatisfied in basking in the praise that met the release of their debut album Alas Salvation earlier this year, the band’s latest offering hinges on their typically aloof lyrics aligned with a maelstrom of thudding drums, screeching guitars and unkempt riffs that hold nothing back. Possessing that typically hypnotic spirit that the band have crafted over all of their recorded material, ‘Heavens Above’ is a ferocious effort which takes potshots at the greed-ridden culture of the modern world.
