YOUNG FATHERS have returned with another beguiling glimpse of their upcoming album ‘Heavy Heavy’.

Following on from ‘Geronimo’ and ‘I Saw’, ‘Tell Somebody’ is a sublime track, enveloped in a growing mystique and anticipation. Building and building to a breath-taking climax, it’s accompanied by a cinematic visual by David Uzochukwu.

Speaking of the title of their upcoming album, Heavy Heavy, Young Fathers said it “could be a mood, or it could describe the smoothed granite of bass that supports the sound or, it could be a nod to the natural progression of boys to grown men and the inevitable toll of living, a joyous burden….You let the demons out and deal with it. Make sense of it after.”

Renowned for their electrifying performances, the trio make their much anticipated return to stages across the UK and Europe next year. The tour will include a sold out show at the Roundhouse in London, Elysee Montmartre in Paris, Paradiso in Amsterdam, O2 Academy in Leeds and Glasgow, Olympia in Dublin, Astra in Berlin, Albert Hall in Manchester, Trix in Antwerp, Mojo Club in Hamburg and more.

Heavy Heavy is out February 3rd via Ninja Tune .
