AS Tenement Trail 2018 approaches, Tenement TV have collaborated with the photographers who have captured the special moments that have defined the festival, and Glasgow, to present a selection of their work to the public, celebrating the city’s diverse music scene.

‘FOR THE LOVE OF GLASGOW’ is a unique opportunity for music lovers to come together and celebrate the amazing artform of music photography, far beyond the shaky images captured from the mosh pit on camera phones that many are used to. Taking place at Broadcast, in the heart of Sauchiehall Street, the exhibition will be showcasing the work of two of Glasgow’s busiest and best photographers, Cameron Brisbane and Alice Hadden featuring photos capturing the venues that will host this year’s festival, alongside some of Glasgow’s legendary venues like the O2 Academy, the much-missed ABC and the iconic Barrowlands, and the current hubs of local talent like King Tut’s and Saint Luke’s.

The sheer volume of photos within this event is staggering, with work featuring Lewis Capaldi, Fatherson, The Temperance Movement, The Big Moon, Twin Atlantic, The Van T’s, Lucia and notably, Frightened Rabbit, offering fans a chance to remember and celebrate the life of Scott Hutchison.

Running up until the 30th of September, music fans will be able to purchase their favourite snaps from the photographers, with all proceeds generated from the event going directly to the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) to help tackle the mental health issues that affect a huge number people every day.

This year’s Tenement Trail promises to BIGGER.BOLDER.LOUDER and with thousands of music fans, over 100 bands, in ten venues over 12 hours, you CANNOT afford to miss out on this celebration of everything great about live music.
