The band: Glasgow band Belle and Sebastian have been busy of late, playing the ever-popular Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris last month and have been confirmed as headliners of Liverpool Sound City festival next May.
The sound: A track you want to pull shapes to, ‘The Party Line’ is an 80’s dance pop track with a catchy synth and bass combo. The band are showing no signs of drowning in the mass sea that is the current music scene with a track to rival their younger peers.
The lowdown: The single is taken from the upcoming album Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance, out 19th January 2015 on Matador Records.
