WITH a few single releases already under their belt, Edinburgh band Indigo Velvet have continued the theme of their self-proclaimed ‘tropical indie’ in their new single ‘Easy Love’.
In a similar style to Model Aeroplanes, Indigo Velvet’s output projects flowery, sprightly guitar tones and life-affirming choruses. Their traditional vivid image laden with vibrancy is paralleled with their music, and it’s packed with all the indie pop flavours that make their live set particularly exciting. Perhaps 2016 is where we envision the spring-jump to rapid success for Indigo Velvet.
Indigo Velvet will support Kelvin at Glasgow’s Oran Mor on 9th April 2016, along with an appearance at The Big Discovery festival in Edinburgh on 23rd April.
