SIGNED to Geoff Barrow of Portishead fame’s renowned Invada imprint, The KVB are band that have became prolific for their ability to conjure the darkest recesses of their minds and transforming them into engulfing and deranged music which is both sinister and inviting.
Helmed by Kat Day and and Nicholas Wood, their forthcoming fifth album Of Desire is slated for release on the 11th March and they’ve bestowed the hauntingly stunning ‘In Deep’ upon us as a prelude to the record’s emergence.
Taking shoegaze and leading it down an uncertain path fraught with danger and menace, ‘In Deep’ is a track filled with peaks and troughs; switching from unsettling in the best way possible to vibrant and exalted at the drop of a hat. Filled with harsh guitars, soaring synths and hypnotic percussion ‘In Deep’ is indicative of all that makes their sound so special and borders on the transcendent at its highest points.
