SCOTTISH music industry conference Resonate has announced the return of its live showcase on Thursday 24th November.
The pioneering music conference welcomes applications from across the length and breadth of Scotland and embraces artists and acts from all genres. The annual Resonate Live showcase will close proceedings at the 6th edition of Resonate Music Conference, taking place at PLATFORM, ARGYLE STREET on Thursday 24th November.
Now firmly established as a staple event in the Scottish music calendar, Resonate has grown immeasurably since their inaugural conference in 2017. In that time, they have welcomed an incredibly impressive array of artists including Lizzie Reid, Rascalton, Chef, Declan Welsh & The Decadent West, Carla J. Easton, Bemz and more to the Resonate stage.
Chosen by an independent panel of judges, the selected artists will get the opportunity to perform in front of a largely industry audience as the conference welcomes hundreds of industry professionals from across the UK & beyond. It opens up opportunities which are often hard to come by in music like performing in front of digital distributors, record labels, music publishers, managers and marketing gurus.
The process for applying is simple. Artists should follow directions to the Google Form here and put their best two musical examples forward along with any other supporting information. Our judging panel take into consideration career progress so far, quality of musical examples and the likelihood this showcase will open up new opportunities for career development. Applications WILL CLOSE ON THURSDAY 28TH SEPTEMBER.
Resonate is set to deliver another educational day filled with practical workshops, panel discussions, one to one advice sessions and presentations at its new home of PLATFORM, ARGYLE STREET. The conference details will be released in due course.
