BBC FOUR are set to produce a brand new documentary on indie royalty The Libertines and are looking for contributions from fans.
A band that has been widely mythologised in books, articles and documentaries such as Roger Sargent’s ‘There Are No Innocent Bystanders’ which looked at their initial reunion back in 2010, the new documentary was announced by the band via Twitter and put out the call for the band’s massive following to get involved.
Proclaiming that “The folks at BBC Four are putting together a doc and they need your help’, the band clarified that those wishing to contribute can get in touch via emailing phop@7wonder.co,uk.
Whilst it is not yet clear whether the documentary will chronicle the band from their early beginnings or focus on their current Anthems For Doomed Youth era, it’s sure to be well received by the band’s millions of fans.
