GLASGOW’S Cathedral House Hotel has announced a special tribute night in celebration of the life of the late Gary Watson.
With The Lapelles frontman having just began to host open mic nights at the venue on Thursday evenings known as the Necropolis Sessions; an ode to the hotel’s 19th century aesthetic and close proximity to the long-standing landmark, the hotel is set to keep this event going this week and will be hosted by Gary’s friend David Milne.
Announced via social media and scheduled for Thursday 18th August, Cathedral House stated that “All who knew Gary are in shock at losing him far too soon. An incredible talent & loved by all who knew him. Thursday is an opportunity to gather, & remember Gary through music & friends. All welcome.”
The event will take place from 8pm onwards with more information available via the event page.
