BLONDIE have announced the release of their eleventh studio album, Pollinator, on 5th May.

Produced by John Congleton, who has previously worked with St. Vincent, Sleater-Kinney and John Grant, the album features a number of songwriting collaborations with big names such as TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek, Charli XCX, Sia, Dev Hynes and Johnny Marr. The iconic outfit have also enlisted the services of Joan Jett and Laurie Anderson who guest on the track ‘Doom Or Destiny’, while The Gregory Brothers appear on ‘When I Gave Up On You’.

Speaking of the band’s many collaborators, Debbie Harry has said:  “Their material is part of us and we are part of them. It’s a celebration of recycling!”. Featuring Harry alongside original band members Chris Stein and Clem Burke, Pollinator will be the follow-up to 2014’s Ghosts of Download.

Blondie were recently added to the line-up at Phil Collins’ British Summer Time gig at Hyde Park. More UK tour dates are expected to be announced soon.
