DEAD BEET RECORDS have announced a new fortnightly music showcase at The Priory on Sauchiehall Street.

Titled ‘New Breed’, the nights will feature live sets from some of Glasgow’s most exciting up and coming bands, giving music fans the opportunity to discover some fresh new talent while lending their support to the local scene.

‘New Breed’ launches this Thursday (October 20) at midnight with performances coming from Rascalton, Sway and Declan Welsh & the Decadent West. Rascalton come fresh off the back of a storming set at Tenement Trail after beating hundreds of submissions to win the competition to open the multi-venue festival two weeks ago. Meanwhile, Sway will showcase their melodic indie rock and Declan Welsh will bring some variety, sharing his latest poetic observations through one of his now infamous spoken word performances.

Followed by DJ sets from Dead Beet Records’ selected hosts, it’s another addition to Glasgow’s thriving music scene which will give aspiring artists a new platform to grow and develop.
