LADY GAGA
has called upon an all-star cast of musicians for her upcoming new album.

Derived from worlds far beyond that of the avant-garde pop domain which she usually inhabits, among those that added their own distinct style to the soon-to-be released Joanne include Tame Impala mastermind Kevin Parker, the constantly busy Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age, charismatic singer/songwriter Father John Misty and the incomparable Beck.

An amalgamation of artists that Gaga has long admired, this elite team of artists was assembled with assistance from producer Mark Ronson, their contributions varying from FJM resuming his role behind the drum kit that he’d once held within Fleet Foxes and Homme lending his instantly recognisable guitar tone all the way to Parker and Beck bolstering the tracklisting with their own original compositions.

With ‘Illusion’ derived from a Tame Impala demo which the band’s figurehead was happy to relinquish, it’ll be intriguing to see how Gaga’s extravagant style melds with the world of psychedelia.

The new album is primed for release this Friday (21st October).
