SCOTTISH alt-rock outfit Del Amitri are set to play a free show at the Barrowlands for Scottish NHS workers.

Marking their first show in over two years, the show will take place on 9th December as a tribute to frontline health workers who are making a “huge sacrifice” during the current crisis.

Tickets will be limited to two per person (eligible staff and one guest) and will be available online only via Ticketmaster from this Friday (April 10th) at 10am

The band’s Justin Currie said “In these dark days, with not a huge amount to look forward to, we just thought this gig would make for a great pre-Xmas night out for all those Scottish NHS workers who’ve gone above and beyond these last few weeks. The Barrowland Ballroom is a sort of heaven for us and what better way to get out of this hell?”

Del Amitri’s current line-up features core members Justin Currie (vocals/bass), Iain Harvie (guitar) and Andy Alston (keys/percussion), along with Kris Dollimore (guitar) and Ash Soan (drums) who have been with the band since the late ‘90s.
