INNOVATIVE songstress FKA Twigs has returned to the fray with the remarkable M3LL155X; a new EP which has been unveiled via a stunningly crafted music video.
Cited as an artist that is bringing ethereality and ornate beauty back to the spectrum of mainstream music, every move she has made thus far supersedes a standard release and seems to be more a grand and calculated gesture.
This latest endeavour has proven to be no different, as she has released a 16 minute video for M3LL155X, a collection of songs which sees her deftly turn her hand to everything from ambient to drone, electro, trip-hop and more.
Its accompanying visuals brazenly venture away from the territory of a music video and instead act as a companion piece to the tracks; concerned with issues ranging from identity and gender to societal misogyny and sex.
M3LL155X is available now via Young Turks, with a vinyl pre-order set to be made available in the near future.
