GLASGOW’S McChuills is to host a listening party for The Libertines’ Anthems For Doomed Youth prior to its official release.
The only venue in Scotland to be afforded this opportunity, the event will allow the some of the band’s legions of fans to hear their first record in 11 years before the general public.
McChuills; a popular venue in Glasgow’s high street, will be in the company of bars in Kings Heath, Bristol, Chatham, Exeter, Manchester and Stoke that will provide patrons the privilege of exclusive early access to the record.
Entitled the ‘Somewhere Over The Railings’ listening parties, Glasgow’s edition will take place on the Wednesday 2nd September 2015 with all proceeds going to The Amy Winehouse Foundation.
