jarmuschJIM JARMUSCH’S new Iggy And The Stooges documentary ‘Gimme Danger’ is set to screen at Glasgow Film Theatre in the coming week.

With the initial run beginning on Friday 18th November, the documentary; which premiered at the world famous Cannes Festival earlier this year, will chart the history of Michigan’s proto-punk forefathers from their emergence through Raw Power, Funhouse and beyond.

Part of their ongoing ‘Sound And Vision’ season, the documentary makers have been granted unrivaled access to archive footage and will feature interviews with many of the band’s prominent conspirators.

Clocking in at nearly two hours in length, ‘Gimme Danger’ is slated as the most comprehensive look at the Iggy Pop fronted band’s career.

Screening up until the 24th November, tickets for all showings are available via their official site.
