DON’T you hate it when you’re stood transfixed by a band who’re giving it all in their performance yet you’re distracted from the music by a gaggle of audience members who refuse to stop talking during their set?
It turns out that the good people behind Independent Music Week share your outrage as they’ve launched the new #tunesnotchat campaign, which hopes to exitrpate this annoying occurence from the gig-going experience.
Having released posters emblazoned with the witty slogan “If the band is interrupting your conversation… You’re in the wrong place”, the campaign has already received support The Chartlatan’s revered frontman Tim Burgess as well as from well known Cardiff venue Clwb Ifor Bach.
We’d certainly not be opposed to seeing these posters make their way into Scotland’s music venues.
