THE
memorial service for the late Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilminster is set to be streamed to a worldwide audience online.

In spite of an additional private service which is intented for only family and friends, the event is to be streamed via the band’s official YouTube channel between 1am & 5am this Saturday (9th January 2016).

His fellow bandmates; who’ve regularly urged fans to celebrate the late vocalist’s life since the news of his untimely death broke, have released a statement urging for admirers of his work to get together with friends and ‘gather globally’, stating:

“Go to your favourite bar, or your favourite club, make sure they have access to an internet connection and toast along with us. Or simply invite your pals around and celebrate Lemm’s life at home. Whatever your venue, and however you can, let’s be sure to gather globally on Saturday, January 9 and celebrate the life of our dear friend and irreplaceable icon.”
