Returning to the stage for the first time since her 1979 tour when she began a residency at London’s famous Hammersmith Apollo, the songstress is preparing to release a new collection of the live recordings from the shows entitled ‘Before The Dawn’ and has provided a slew of revelations for eager fans.

Describing the experience of returning to the glaring lights of live performance as one that had left her ‘terrified’, she seems to be entertaining the prospect of potentially doing it again in the future:

“I don’t know. It was an extraordinary thing to be involved in, especially to have got the response that we did. It was wonderful for everybody involved in the show to get that kind of positive feeling every night. It was really magical. But I don’t know. I don’t know what I’m going to do next. Definitely do something. I want to just do something new. I’ve been working with this project for a really long time now

Speaking to Matt Everitt on Radio 6 Music, she also was quick to dispatch any notion that she had released her final album and claimed that the upcoming live compilation is ‘a rather big comma’ rather than a full stop on her career.
