glasto charity record
THE
organisers behind Glastonbury have announced the forthcoming release of a refugee benefit compilation which is set to feature a myriad of huge artists.

Dedicated to the memory of the late Labour MP Jo Cox following her incredibly tragic death at the hands of a gunman last week, Oxfam Presents: Stand As One- Glastonbury Live 2016 is a key component in the charity’s latest campaign to pressure the world’s leaders to relinquish their apathetic stance towards the thousands that continue to linger outwith borders and allow them into the nations which they are striving to access.

A fitting tribute to the philanthropic work of Cox as a longtime Oxfam campaigner, the record will be comprised of one track from the Glastonbury sets of The Last Shadow Puppets, CHVRCHES, Muse, Fatboy Slim, Foals, Sigur Ros, Years & Years, Coldplay and more.

Released on Parlophone, all profits are earmarked to aid Oxfam’s refugee campaign. The album will be released digitally on the 11th July whilst a physical release is expected on the 12th August.
