The Libertines have announced a warm up show at the Glasgow Barrowlands, in preparation for their forthcoming reunion gig at Hyde Park in July. The gig will take place on the 29th June, and was announced by co-frontman Carl Barat over twitter:
“Dearest amigos, a warm up show at the @TheBarrowlands on the 29th June 2014 has been added for The Libertines. Tickets on sale soon.”
The group recently announced that they would be playing a reunion show at this year’s British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park, London, on the 5th July. The band haven’t played live together since 2010.
They are also scheduled to play the Spanish festival Benicàssim this year, headlining the Saturday night on the 19th July.
