THE incomparable Morrissey has announced details of his first UK tour in three years.

As his forthcoming new album Low In High School release looms in the not too distant future, the former Smiths frontman and renowned solo artist behind Viva Hate, You Are The Quarry, Vauxhall And I and Bona Drag is heading out on the road once more in February of next year.

Set to take in shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall, Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena, Birmingham’s Genting Arena and Glasgow’s own The SSE Hydro, the announcement of the tour has stirred controversy due to the absence of a date in Manchester.
