AUSTRALIAN psych-rock outfit Pond have announced details of a UK tour later this year, featuring a Glasgow date at the Art School on Monday 19th June.

The Tame Impala offshoot are currently gearing up for the release of their new album The Weather, due out on 5th May. Known for their incredibly prolific output, it will be their seventh studio album since 2009 and has been described as frontman Nicholas Allbrook as “a concept album, not completely about Perth, but focusing on all the weird contradictory things that make up a lot of colonial cities around the world”. Produced by Kevin Parker, it will feature lead single ‘Sweet Me Off My Feet’ and ‘3000 Megatons’.

The new tour will see them taken in Brighton, Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, London and Glasgow in June with tickets on sale this Friday (17th February).
