Pronto Mama announce ‘Any Joy’ tour in May

JUST days removed from a triumphant show at Glasgow’s Oran Mor as part of the Celtic Connections festival, Pronto Mama have announced details of a Scottish tour later this year.

Set in conjunction with the launch of their debut album Any Joy, the tour will take them to Ayr, Paisley, Dundee, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow. They will also be joined by some of their favourite local bands with the likes of Be Charlotte, The Vegan Leather, Redolent, Mt. Doubt and ST.MARTiiNS appearing across the different dates.

The band’s debut album Any Joy was the subject of a highly successful Pledge campaign earlier this year which saw them smash their initial target 9 days ahead of schedule. Slated to emerge in May ,at around the same time as the tour, the album will be released through Electric Honey. Its release will mark the beginning of an exciting new era for the band, who have said: “We’re now super excited about our album launch tour. Pre-Sales for ‘Any Joy’ are doing great already but we have decided to bundle together tickets and album packages for you to keep sales moving and try and get Pronto into the UK album charts!”
