THE Road to The Great Escape have announced the line-up for their inaugural King Tut’s show.

The new gig series, which was announced at the tail end of last year, will mark 15 years of The Great Escape by bringing a number of hotly tipped artists to venues in Scotland and Ireland in the run-up to the Brighton-based festival.

The Scottish leg will take place across the 9th and 10th May at the world-famous King Tut’s with two jam-packed all-dayers. The first wave of artists feature our very own Lizzie Reid, VanIves, Walt Disco and Aaron Smith alongside other exciting names such as Matilda Mann, Abbie Ozard, Bamily, Griff, Somebody’s Child, Strange Bones, Malaki and Oscar Lang.

The showcase will then move onto Dublin and take over Academy 2, The Grand Social, Tramlines and Lost Lane. The line-up will include Irish songwriter April, rap collective House of Pharoahs and Glasgow-based bands Lucia & the Best Boys and HYYTS. More artists have still to be announced for both locations. Tickets go on sale on Friday 24th January at 9am.
