BALKING at the traditional order of things, The Twilight Sad have unconventionally reviewed their own gig at Newcastle’s Cluny.
Written by vocalist James Graham, he provides a detailed account of the 51st gig of their 57 date tour, explaining that Newcastle as a city holds particular importance for him, stating:
‘I’ve always looked forward to our gigs in the North East. When I was younger I used to keep my dad company when he worked in Newcastle for a couple of days. I’d sit in the car and listen to my favourite albums on the car stereo then at night we’d go into town for dinner.’
Proclaiming to hold an affinity towards ‘The Toon’, he goes on to explain that the show was undoubtedly ‘a night to remember.’
