TRNSMT Festival reveal festival map with just two weeks to go. This week, festival organisers have revealed an exciting glimpse into what fans can expect over 8th – 10th July, releasing the highly-anticipated site map and re-launching the cinch present TRNSMT 2022 Official App, offering festival fans the most up-to-date info and stage times as well as an interactive site map. Since its launch in 2017, TRNSMT has continually strived for the best and this year have been awarded gold status from Attitude is Everything; becoming the first festival in Scotland to achieve this accolade. Attitude is Everything recognises innovation, creativity and imagination and after making live events more accessible to all abilities, it is an impressive feat for the Glasgow festival.

With a weekend of celebrations ahead which will see over 70 acts perform across 3 stages, festival organisers have released an exclusive sneak peak of the festival site map. Fans can once again check out the iconic Boogie Bar. After making its successful debut last year it’s back to give those TRNSMT revellers the chance to dance the night away. Or, for a more chilled out time, visit the Ferris Wheel for glorious views across the cinch presents TRNSMT site, relax in the exclusive VIP area and be greeted with a glass of bubbly on arrival and feast on some culinary treats at Big Feed.

Fans can download the FREE cinch presents TRNSMT app, ensuring access to all set times, live notifications and festival info over the weekend. With live notifications and set times at the touch of a button, the app is a must for festival fans who can ‘star’ their favourite artists to create their very own schedule and even receive push notifications before the act takes to the stage – making sure they don’t miss a single second of live music.

Refuel and recharge, sit back, recline and enjoy a cocktail or two in this year’s VIP area. The VIP area this year is twice as big, with more space to chill out, grab some food and soak up the atmosphere. Now centred around Glasgow Green’s beautiful fountain, the space will host bars, food vans, DJs and most importantly – VIP toilets.

VIP tickets are still available here.

Big Feed x cinch presents TRNSMT returns for the 2022 season, bringing a tasty, eclectic mix of street food to the Green. After a popular year, Big Feed has expanded, sharing their tasty offerings across two sites. Winners of the Best Street Food awards from The Scotsman and Glasgow Live, the Glasgow culinary collective will ensure festival goers have plenty of options to try out some of the city’s most exciting food and drink traders. With their biggest line up yet, offering a variety of classic treats as well as vegan and vegetarian options, there will truly be something for everyone to enjoy. If pizza is your thing, Dough Man’s Land make their debut, putting a street food spin on the classic Italian dish. Typhoon Ten, a new dedicated vegan trader, is here to get everyone’s taste buds buzzing with their dirty burgers.  You’ll also see the return of Big Feed’s own, Salt n Chilli Glasgow and fan favourite, Duck Street Food, with their aromatic duck gyros having created some of the biggest queues at Big Feed’s weekend events, taking festival goers on a culinary adventure. With a selection of tacos, bao buns, gourmet dogs, slow cooked pulled pork sandwiches, loaded nachos, buttermilk chicken, loaded fries and freshly ground coffee – you won’t get a better selection of food anywhere else this weekend.

Black Rooster Peri Peri are making their TRNSMT debut as official partners with the festival. The Glasgow based business will be on site throughout the weekend serving their delicious signature Peri Peri chicken from a brand new custom made food truck. Owners Kevin Bell & Michael Kennedy are excited to make their festival debut saying: “We speak to our customers all the time and we know that music is a major passion for them. We’ve been keen to get into the festival scene for years but this year – coming out of lockdown and an absolutely unbelievable line-up at cinch presents TRNSMT– just felt like something we couldn’t miss out on.”

The Green will play host to a variety of thrilling and laidback attractions, from the aptly named Big Wheel, featuring 27 open air gondolas, giving fans a glorious view across the cinch presents TRNSMT site, to the King Loop, where those thrill seekers among us will get a rush of adrenaline with its extreme flips and dips, or soar to new heights in The Rocket and experience an out of this world ride.
