THE WAR ON DRUGS have officially confirmed the details surrounding their new album and released the fantastic ‘Holding On.’

Just over a month removed from the splendorous Record Store Day exclusive ‘Thinking Of A Place’, the Adam Granduciel-led rock ‘n’ roll outfit have now announced that the much anticipated follow-up to their 2014 masterclass Lost In The Dream is known as A Deeper Understanding.

Set to be released on the 25th August via Atlantic Records, the first idea of what to expect on the record has emerged in the form of ‘Holding On’; an exquisite and anthemic track which instills everything that is so enticing about their very own brand of Americana.

The War On Drugs will play Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom on the 9th & 10th November.
