A CLIP of a previously unreleased track from The White Stripes entitled ‘Rated X’ has been released.
Set for inclusion on Jack White’s Third Man Records’ 24th ‘vault package’, it will be available alongside a reissue of Loretta Lynn’s classic Van Lear Rose LP pressed on golden vinyl.
A cover of the famed country artist in its own right, the brief clip of ‘Rated X’ is laden with all the usual trappings of The White Stripes’ output; featuring Jack’s trademark howl and Meg’s pungently rudimentary drumming style.
Featuring a B Side of the heralded two piece performing Lynn’s ‘Whispering Sea’ at Washington’s Gorge Ampitheatre in 2005, the package is available now here.
