A band who have had us enraptured with each outstanding release since they first burst onto the scene, Acting Strange have shared details of their debut album TALK TALK TALK along with one of its featured tracks ‘Save Me’.

With their delightfully ramshackle sound and chaotic lo-fi guitar tunes, the Glasgow trio have become synonymous with taking rock ‘n’ roll back to its purest form; their organic and self-produced compositions providing a refreshing alternative to the glossy productions put forward by so many of their contemporaries.

‘Save Me’ marks another triumph for the band; more rambunctious and focused than previous offerings but without losing any of their authenticity or vitality. Expressing their need for solace in rollicking fashion, an undeniable swagger emanates from the track through its stomping rhythms and defiant vocals. Seizing your attention from the very outset, its catchy melodies indicate the band’s pop sensibilities before unhinged guitars come in like a force of nature and instil the track with that raw power of rock ‘n’ roll.

Following their critically acclaimed EP ‘Night On The Tiles’, Acting Strange have undoubtedly honed their songwriting skills while still maintaining the DIY ethic that made them such a compelling prospect in the first place. It is perhaps unsurprising to know that they completed their debut album in a converted shed in their hometown of East Kilbride and self-produced it on a Tascam 8-track; the organic nature of its creation shining through on its striking lead single ‘Save Me’.

TALK TALK TALK is due for release on 31st March 2017 through In Black Records. Check out the new track below:
