The band: Glasgow’s rock trio Baby Strange have mastered the art of tight tracks drenched in punk. Enjoying supporting names like Palma Violets on tour last year, the band have now announced their first ever headline UK tour.
The sound: ‘Distance Yourself’ is much darker than their previous releases ‘Friend’ and ‘Pure Evil’. Featuring fussy guitars and deep bass riffs, ‘Distance Yourself’ shows true progression in the young band.
The lowdown: The band will kick-off their summer tour in Nottingham on 31st May 2014 and play shows around England including Birmingham, London and a free show in Manchester. The band will then play their hometown of Glasgow on 6th June at Stereo and you can buy tickets for the show here. Baby Strange will also play a show at Sneaky Pete’s in Edinburgh on 7th June 2014 and finally finish the tour in Dundee on 8th which will be another free entry show.
