CHEF the rapper and Aiitee have teamed up for a new EP ‘In My Element: Water’.
The pair have worked together before, and are now lynchpins of Aberdeen’s rising hip hop and rap scene – having also worked with the likes of Louis Seivright, Nafe K, Ransom FA and Bemz.
So, with the musical alchemy already in place, it makes sense that would pair up again for a longer project – in this case, a three-track project that allows both of their talents to shine.
Chef’s impressive flow is the perfect foil to Aiitee’s velvety smooth vocals, the lead track ‘Last Time I Checked’ carried by a mellow, laid back instrumental and an effortless cool. The songwriting craft is clear for all to see, while Aiitee’s vocal performance adds emotional heft to the musicality.
