dannyAN artist that remains brazenly within his own lane and constantly defies convention to produce stellar hip-hop, Danny Brown is one of the genre’s most polarising figures in recent years.

Adored by a loyal fanbase whilst being vilified by those who deem his flow or voice to be not to their liking, Brown has had one of his quieter years in recent memory on the new music front; however he has found time to work with with artists such as Glasgow’s Rustie and Canadian Jazz outfit BadBadNotGood. Collaborating with esteemed producer Clams Casino; a man who is perhaps best known for working with everyone from A$ap Rocky to Vince Staples and Lil B, he has returned with the frenzied ‘Worth It.’

Performed in his trademark breakneck style, Brown spits ferocious couplets over a dense and devious beat that is atypical of Clams Casino’s productions thus far. Indebted to the modern day crop of ‘cloud rap’ artists that have gained notoriety for the atmospheric and vaporous style of their beats, it’s a triumphant return for the Detroit MC.

Part of the current run of Adult Swim singles that will see the release of new music from  diverse artists such as Run the Jewels, Slayer and Flying Lotus, it is unclear whether this track marks the genesis of a longstanding partnership between the two artists.
