DYLAN JOHN THOMAS has shared his new four-track ‘EP2’.

The new collection features recent single ‘What a Shame’, ‘If I Didn’t Laugh’ and ‘Fever’ – as well as instrumental opener ‘Battle of Alesia’ and ‘Now And Then’.

Picking up where last year’s debut EP left off, the new release is brimming with jaunty indie-folk singalongs and storytelling flair. And while the songwriting may be more refined, the fast-rising Glaswegian has retained the heart-on-sleeve lyrics and exuberant energy that made him such a hot prospect in the first place.

Quickly growing into one of Scotland’s biggest breakthrough stars of the last few years, Dylan John Thomas has had a momentous 2022 – playing a main stage slot at TRNSMT, making his Glastonbury debut and gaining radio play from Radio 1, 6 Music and more.

He’s about to embark on a UK-wide tour later this month which will culminate with two massive homecoming shows at the Barrowlands in Glasgow on 7th and 8th November.

And following the EP’s release, on Saturday night he stepped up at the Scottish Music Awards to receive the Dean Banks & Mond Vodka Breakthrough Artist Award, where he performed ‘Fever’ and ‘What I Need’. He follows in the footsteps of previous winners of the award, who have included Lewis Capaldi, Paolo Nutini and The Snuts.

Tune in below.
