AHEAD of the arrival of their debut EP ‘Pure Misery’ on 25th November, Glaswegian outfit Humour have shared a new single called ‘good boys remember well’.

It’s the band’s fourth single following ‘yeah, mud!’, ‘alive and well’ and ‘pure misery’ – all of which will appear on the upcoming project.

This one if the EP’s dramatic closer – besieged with the kind of off-kilter chaos the band excel in, while bringing their dark post-punk influences to the fore.

“This song’s about a really tragic submarine disaster Andreas [Christodoulidis, vocalist] heard about one day,” Humour have shared on ‘good boys remember well’. “He just lifts a bunch of particularly sad lines from Wikipedia about it rather than adding too much of his own perspective. I’ve always thought this was a cool thing about this song. It seems like he’s got a megaphone and is just sort of relentlessly listing facts and figures about the disaster in a desperate attempt to make you feel the way he did when he heard about it.”

Humour play Nice n Sleazy in Glasgow on 26th November and Sneaky Pete’s in Edinburgh on 3rd December.
