ELIZA Shaddad has returned with a gorgeous new single called ‘Blossom’.

The critically acclaimed Scottish-Sudanese artist draws on different parts of her heritage to create a sound that is distinctly her own and her latest offering is no different.

Recorded at home in Cornwall with producer Ben Jackson, ‘Blossom’ finds her pushing the parameters of her sound and showcases a softer side to her songwriting.

Introducing elements from her Sudanese heritage, she conjures layers of sound with classical guitar melodies and sweeping strings coming together beautifully with her crystalline vocals. It’s a mesmerising listen that flows elegantly and effortlessly.

With more new music expected this year, ‘Blossom’ marks the beginning of an exciting new journey for Eliza Shaddad.
